Leonard Cohan
I have been a Children's Nurse with a Ba(Hons) Nursing degree for nearly 30 years with a background in both adult and children's Accident and Emergency nursing and more recently in school and community settings. I have supported hundreds of families, adults and children, in emotional, mental and physical health challenges.
I have vast experience in providing 121 sessions for children aged 4-19 years old and have held drop in clinics for secondary school pupils covering all health related issues.
Alongside my Diploma in Hypnotherapy I have training in trauma informed approach, sexual health, domestic violence, safeguarding children and adults, first aid, self-harm, suicide and mental health 1st aid.
I am a proud supporter and volunteer for a suicide and self harm helpline and have a keen interest in supporting those with mental health problems.
As a Mum of 4, I love nothing more than watching rugby, walking the dogs and barbequing, in all weathers.
I enjoy Cornish holidays, yoga, cooking and cold water swimming.
I have a new found love of knitting which allows my mind to focus and create a space for positive thought. The art of knitting produces the same response as hypnotherapy, a quiet and deep mental awareness.
My aim is to show and support you in the same awareness of your mental and emotional health in order to bring about positive change.
I look forward to hearing your story and thank you for taking the time to find me.

At Peace of Mind Hypnotherapy, I believe that everyone has the ability to lead a happy and fulfilling life. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health, and that hypnotherapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance.
